Creating homes in partnership with God's people in need.

Habitat for Humanity in the Roanoke, Valley, Inc. builds homes on purchased and donated land that our affiliate owns.  Although 144 of the 146 homes we have completed are located in Roanoke City, we have now completed a home in Roanoke County and  one in Vinton. 

We rely on volunteer labor to build our homes.  Homeowner families also help in the building of their homes.  The skilled work, such as masonry, plumbing , electrical, plastering, and carpet and vinyl flooring is contracted out to local subcontractors.
