The money to build a Habitat home comes from corporate sponsors, individual donations, and recycled homeowner payments.  Sponsors provide $50,000 of the funds and the remaining money comes from Habitat's general fund.  

Individual donors are a very important part of Habitat's ministry.  Donations can be made directly to Habitat for Humanity in the Roanoke Valley, Inc. by mailing directly to our address, 403 Salem Avenue, SW, Roanoke, VA 24016.  Credit card donations can be made by calling the office at 344-0747.  All donations are tax-deductible.  We also have a limited amount of individual tax credits available.  If you are interested in taking advantage of tax credits, call the office for more information.

Habitat accepts donations in memory or honor of a friend or loved one and acknowledges these gifts in a letter to the person being honored or in cases of memorial contributions to the family of the bereaved.
