To empower and prepare partner families, Habitat has established a Home Repair Center in our warehouse where partner families gain hands-on experience in the repair of the most common household problems.  

Area experts teach the workshops, which emphasize the responsibilities included in homeownership.  After demonstrating the topic skill, instructors assist new homeowners in the repair.  Each person learns and demonstrates each skill.   Simple instructions and diagrams are reproduced and distributed for each class.
