The Habitat Store is a home improvement retail store operated by Habitat for Humanity in the Roanoke Valley.   Both new and used building supplies are  sold.   It is located at 403 Salem Avenue (almost the corner of 5th Street and Salem Avenue) and the phone number is 767-2267.  The store is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

We want everyone to think of the Habitat Store first when in the market for home construction supplies, because you not only get a great deal, but your money goes to build more Habitat Houses.  By donating, shopping or volunteering at The Habitat Store, you are supporting families in the Roanoke area in need of safe, decent and affordable housing.

The Habitat Store is open to everyone...in fact, we encourage everyone, from homeowners, to landlords, to contractors, to take advantage of the selection and great prices...30-75% off of retail...on new and gently used merchandise.

Create amazing ideas...  Whether you're creating a playroom for the kids, a set for a play, or a different mood for your kitchen or bath, you may find some amazing ideas at The Habitat Store.

Update your entire house...  Sometimes all it takes is a fresh coat of paint or some new cabinet hardware to update a room, or a new light fixture, or cabinets.  Check The Habitat Store first for the best prices and a constantly changing selection of great buys.

Donate new or gently used goods...  The merchandise for The Habitat Store comes from donations from contractors, area businesses, manufacturers and homeowners, and includes a good mixture of new and gently used goods.  We have a truck available to pick up donations of any building materials that are in good condition, and that are saleable.  All donations are tax-deductible.  Virginia tax credits may be available to those businesses donating merchandise to the store.  Please call the Habitat office at (540) 344-0747 for more information on tax credits.
