The Volunteer Committee ensures the HFHRV is fulfilling its mission in a way that builds bridges across economic, religious, social, and racial barriers by recruiting, orienting, and training in as many members of our community as possible to participate effectively in our affiliate's activities, both on-site and in committees. The Volunteer Committee includes in its membership individuals who are not members of the Board of Directors. Members agree to serve on the committee for a period of at least one year. The Chair of the Volunteer Committee will be a member of the Board of Directors. The duties and responsibilities of the Volunteer Committee include the following:
